Friday, December 5-Sunday, December 7 - Luther Park / Chili Cook-off CampoutChristmas Party Planning Last day to sign-up for Luther Park Campout! Please meet at the church at 6:00pm on Friday night. Make sure you pack plenty of warm clothes.

Spirit of Christmas planning Troop 13 will be purchasing gifts for
several members of the community to help make Christmas a magical time.
Please help in any way you can.

Last day to sign up for Snow Tubing and Skiing Troop 13 will have a Christmas Party on December 22. Please bring any ideas you have for activities to the December 1 meeting.

Sunday, January 4 - Snow Tubing and Skiing - Bruce MoundOn Sunday, January 4, 2009 (final day of vacation) we will go to Bruce Mound for Snow Tubing and Skiing. We will leave at 8:45am from the library parking lot. There will be no scouts on Monday, January 5. Prices for lift tickets and rentals will be available soon. Please sign up by December 22.
Monday, January 5 - No MeetingFriday, January 9-Saturday, January 10 - Webelos Lock-in—8:00pm-5:00am - Chippewa Falls Middle School The annual Webelos Lock-in will be at the Chippewa Falls Middle School starting at 8:00pm. You will need to find your own transportation to and from this event. Please sign up by December 22.
KLONDIKE DERBY / WINTER CAMP - January 30—February 1 We will once again be staying at Camp Phillips for our Winter Camp at the end of January. Please sign up at one of the January Troop meetings. More information will be available next month.
YEAR END PLANNING - February 2 Last September we only planned the
calendar for six months. On February 2, we will plan the remainder of
the year. Many scouts expressed interested in doing new activities such
as horse back riding. Scouts were asked to find out more information on
these activities and bring it to this planning meeting. Please check on
schedules and pricing for these and bring it to this meeting.
AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT FORMS Please fill out a new form for each scout. Updated forms will be required for all Troop 13 outings.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST - February 15 To avoid the conflict with the OA camp
weekend on February 8, the Pancake Breakfast will be held on February
15 at Holy Ghost Church. We will once again be collecting food for the
food shelf. Please plan onattending this important fund raiser.
HAPPY 75th ANNIVERSARY TROOP 13 Troop 13 is the longest continuous running troop in the Chippewa Valley Council, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year!
SCOUTMASTER CONFERENCE AND BOARDS OF REVIEWS If you need a Scoutmaster Conference or
Board of Review, you will need to contact Mr. Normand and Mrs. Suilmann
before the Monday meeting.
You will need to wear you Class A uniform.

PICTURES NEEDEDIf you have pictures of Sea Base,
Summer Camp, or any other Troop 13 activity, please give Mr. Buchmann a
copy for use on our web site. Digital copies are best, but he
will take whatever you have. Pictures will be returned to you.
DEN CHIEFSCub Scout Packs in the area are looking
for Den Chiefs to help with meetings. If you are available,
please talk to Mr. Buchmann. Den Chief is an approved leadership
position needed for rank advancement.
2010 SCOUT JAMBOREE The 2010 National Jamboree is just
around the corner. The Jamboree committee is excited about having you
participate in this huge event.

School district cancels school or closes school early because of the
weather, any scouting activity scheduled for that evening will be
canceled. You will not be notified.
