Packing Lists
- ALL CAMPOUTS
- Permission slip
- Filled out before you arrive.
- Authorization for
Emergency Medical Treatment Form - If you have not filled one
out this year.
- Scout Uniform
(put it on a hanger covered with a plastic bag. Put your name on
a piece of masking tape on the bag). Include scarf and clasp (initial your
uniform and scarf and button your clasp in your shirt pocket).
- Sleeping bag
and ground pad and pillow (put inside a plastic trash
bag and put your name on the outside with masking tape).
- Scout Handbook.
- Pencil and Paper.
- Flashlight with
extra Batteries.
- Scout T-Shirts
(you should be wearing one).
- Nice pants or jeans
(to wear with your Scout shirt)
- Extra pair of jeans
- Sweatpants
- Folding Pocket Knife
- Compass (if you have one)
- Clean underwear and
Socks (extra
socks are important)
- Something warm and dry to sleep in (sweats are great)
- Poncho or rain suit (pack on top)
- Sweatshirt
(Scout sweatshirt if you have one)
- Shoes or Hiking Boots (a second pair is
import in case they get wet)
- Toothbrush,
toothpaste, comb, soap, deodorant, towel, etc.
- Canteen or Water Bottle
- Bug / Tick Repellent
(non-aerosol)
- Quiet entertainment like cards or books
- Sunscreen
- Camera
(optional)
- Medicine (if
you need it)
- Sunglasses (if
you have a pair)
- Plastic bag for
wet and dirty clothes
- Scout or similar cap if
you want to wear one
- Watch
- Pack everything in a sports
or duffel bag - put a nametag on the outside
- Fishing gear if
we are camping around water and you would like to fish
- FALL / WINTER / SPRING CAMPS
- The
weather can change very quickly - it can be sunny and warm when you
leave on Friday and Saturday morning it may be snowing. Make sure
you pack for changing weather conditions.
- Snow boots / gloves /
hats / coat are required if the weather is going to get cold
