Planning for 2008-2009 Scouting Year - 6:30pm

We will hold our planning meetings for
the next scout year at the end of August. Start thinking of activities,
projects, campouts, and fun things you would like to do.
Talk with other Scouts at Sea Base or Summer Camp and see what fun things they do.
Because we have so may scouts in the upper ranks, I would like to see some bigger projects which can span several meetings.
If you come up with ideas, write them down and let us know at the planning meetings.
If you can not attend the planning meetings, please give your ideas to another scout or one of the leaders.

DEADLINE FOR SIGN UP AUGUST 25th
Sign up at one of the August planning meetings, or call / email Mr. Buchmann if you are planning to attend. You can not sign up late for this campout!
We will discuss the cost at the August planning meetings. Since we can not bring food into the air show, and we can not leave, scouts may have to purchase some food from the air show vendors. We will also discuss what activities we can do to help the council run the air show.

Troop 13 t-shirts and sweatshirts will be on sale at the August 25th planning meeting.
Navy Blue sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts are available for $14 and $18.
New t-shirts are $6 each.
Used t-shirts as well as new and used gray sweatshirts will also be available for purchase.
We will be placing an order for additional shirts this fall, so let us know if you need something.

If you know of any equipment needing
repair, or additional equipment Troop 13 should have, please bring your
list to the first planning meeting (August 18).
PICTURES NEEDED
If you have pictures of Sea Base,
Summer Camp, or any other Troop 13 activity, please give Mr. Buchmann a
copy for use on our web site. Digital copies are best, but he
will take whatever you have. Pictures will be returned to you.
DEN CHIEFSCub Scout Packs in the area are looking
for Den Chiefs to help with meetings. If you are available,
please talk to Mr. Buchmann. Den Chief is an approved leadership
position needed for rank advancement.
2010 SCOUT JAMBOREE
The 2010 National Jamboree is just
around the corner. The Jamboree committee is excited about having you
participate in this huge event.

School district cancels school or closes school early because of the
weather, any scouting activity scheduled for that evening will be
canceled. You will not be notified.
